Felicity - image
Age: 18 months (3 year grasp)
Class: Prime // Predator
Backstory: You Are (What?) - Felicity's theme
One of TFX’s finest products, Felicity has had almost all of her limiters disabled, which resulted in a record-low grasp of 3 years. She is a bespoke Prime custom-made for Samuel, elder nephew of current head of Nova family Aria Nova. The man has repeatedly expressed his concerns over alarming rate at which Felicity learned abstract concepts, until representatives of TFX assured him that she operates at her capacity and installed additional fail-safe patterns. Those were not supposed to interfere with her behavior, but 12 started to ask fewer questions soon after that.
Bart - image
Race: Synthet (68% IR; abuser)
Age: 42 years
Class: Officer // Enforcer
Backstory: Bart says he saw more subrealities than… well, we can’t really repeat, or we’d have to age-restrict this website. Having served in over a dozen of PSFs of Ares for over 20 years, he gathered an impressive inventory of scars and became an abuser with some hard implants his squadmates say can’t come anywhere but from black market. He has many friends in high places; men and women he served with in The Academy. When recruiters from prestigious Bloodhound PSF reached out to Centurion Guin for recommendations, the man said: “Mr. Keats and I saw Death battling Demon. We joined in on the fun.”
Male - image
Age: 12 years (≈22 in Tetrian equivalent)
Class: Herald // Grey Herald
Backstory: Pin’s pilgrimage usually lasts for a couple of years,
after which they must return to their tribe with something of value. It appears that Malé has been on Kyos for almost five. There are rumors of him being banished from his tribe, joining Brass Fist PSF, gambling away stolen crown gems in Mira’s Esper Wards and doing Syl knows what else, but those few who know Malé well have a good idea about where gossip comes from. What’s certainly true is that Malé is as restless and energetic as rockhopper can be, and that there’s probably more to his upbeat personality than meets Kyosian eye. Yep.
This summary is inaccurate and inconclusive. Makes me think about finally starting that travel blog.
Bane - image
Bane the Shattered
Age: 25 years
Class: Shade // Doppelganger
Backstory: March of the Damned ended when joint forces of Tali and Mira defeated Daniel’s army at the foot of Aegis in 314 AW. Remaining demonspawn scattered throughout Eastern Plains, migrating in small groups. Very soon both septs started sending out scouts to offer survivors “side jobs”, which included a wide range of activities varying from sabotage to assassination. They hired themselves capable operatives in subjective realities; this proved to be effective, and practice exists to this day. Bane is one demonspawn of such talents — little else is known about him.
Norah - image
Race: Pure human (null IR)
Age: 17 years
Class: dual — Aspect // Weaver (current), Herald // Green Herald (dropped)
Backstory: Pure humans are rare; infrastructure of most domes suggests a minimum of necessary augmentations, and although purists are formally regarded as valid members of society, dwindling of their numbers meant fewer alternatives for them. Somas, with their obsession over pre-War world, always offered more than others; many believe that it were purists who ignited Hysteria there. Other places of concentration are Tali’s temples, whose priestesses are often purists, and settlements, whose inhabitants often don’t have neither means nor need for augmentation.
Norah was born and raised by her family in Eshaness; when she turned 17, this cheerful and straightforward young woman managed to enroll into Megaversity, which was struggling to fulfill its yearly quota, and relocated to Pion.
Vyne - image
Age: Early thirties (appearance)
Class: Aspect // Firestarter
Backstory: It is extremely unusual for esper not to have face sigil; in fact, Megaversity thinks it’s not possible, since it contradicts the very nature of the Manifest. Makes sense, then, to only put expensive hunters at the door; masks will give away thieves that manage to get in. All the better for Vyne, who appeared in Ares around 515 AW and claimed position on one of newly established Helmsmen divisions. His intelligence helped him rise up the ranks; in five years he became an executive.
It’s difficult to say what Vyne is trying to achieve with this charade, but he’s on the clock; synthetics allow one to look younger and live a long life, but it’s still far from being ageless, and sooner or later truth will come out.
1755 - image
Age: 5 years (unallocated)
Class: Executor // Fury
Backstory: Unlike orphans, who are often relocated, fresh hoppers only have one choice: run or cease functioning. They all want to get to Terminus, but even for someone fleeing from Republic of Artas, situated just a couple hundred kiloleagues away from the place, it would be a dangerous trip, so most end up in settlements nearby, trying to make their lot and waiting for an opportunity to depart for promised land.
1755’s hardware holds up nicely even for his age, and he has long since altered his patterns himself, so android’s not in a hurry to leave Sungate, where he set up shop (literally) after hopping over his authority — some delivery company in Nova. He was an orphan before that; his master was a good man, 1755 says, laughing as he offers you a peach from his stall for free, but he would still hopped over that man for the kind of life he has here.
Elara - image
Age: Late twenties (appearance)
Class: multi — unknown
Backstory: Diaries of Elara is an all-time best-seller; an inexhaustible anthology of adventures in all kinds of subjective realities, experienced by their author first-hand. Some Tetrians (and most pinz) mistakenly think that mountains surrounding Low Pass are named after her rather than Queen Bates. Elara stands by what she wrote, but there’s often no way to tell truth from fiction (to be fair though, she was one of the first to describe The Void, and later expeditions proved her story to be accurate).
Rumors have it that Elara is one of Firstborns, but she is known to rebuke such claims. She surely was around for a long time, though, and unlike many others of her kin, she used it to forge connections with the powers that were. Accounts put her in all kinds of high places: one day she’s walking in Ares Gardens with the next Magister, the other she’s inspecting Mira Platform with half their sept.
Whether any of that is true or not, she certainly keeps herself on the move.
